LUDHIANA: The high drama at DMC hospital amidst two factions of the Unions, continued on Tuesday afternoon, when Rajwant Kaur Randhawa groups came to near blows with Chander Mohan Kalia faction. The two groups have been trying to prove the real leader by getting the works done pending with the administration of the Hospital.
Tuesday brought in one such more issue.

It all began over a routine transfer of three sisters to a different ward from the one they were serving in, to which both the groups tried to reach the top brass administration of the hospital seated in the interview panel for nurses'' selection in Dumra Auditorium. On the way, the two groups met each other and tried to dissuade each other from pursuing the matter.
Soon enough they hurled abuses and fought belligerently in the campus. A few hundred employees were seen creating a ruckus in the hospital premises, little allowing the normal functioning to continue.
Official spokesman of the DMC told TNN that while the transfers have been done, and the employees have been explained the reason for the transfers, the employees feel that the transfers are not scheduled, and the administration continues to transfer people as it fancies. To regularise this practice in a scheduled manner, the DMC spokesman explained that within fifteen days to a month a pattern would be formulated to transfer employees in a scheduled manner as per their seniority and tenure.
Both Chander Mohan Kalia, President of the DMC Employees Association and Rajwant Kaur Randhawa, who still remains a controversial Joint Secretary of the Association could not be reached for comments despite repeated efforts made to reach them.
